Plot
Sima, a 22-year-old educated woman, is set to marry her lover Bikas. However, their marriage is abruptly called off when false rumours and fabricated photographs are circulated, accusing her of having multiple affairs. Under pressure from his father, Bikas withdraws from the marriage despite suspecting a conspiracy.
Devastated and angry, Sima sets out to confront Bikas but meets with a fatal accident on the way. Her soul reaches Yamlog, where Yamraj realizes that she has been brought there by mistake. Since her physical body has already been cremated, she is given a chance to return to Earth by choosing one of three recently deceased bodies.
Sima first enters the body of a thief killed in a police encounter, leading to a series of comedic situations before she abandons it. She then inhabits the body of a Jatra item dancer but becomes disillusioned by the exploitation surrounding her. Finally, she enters the body of a woman who is unknowingly the culprit behind the conspiracy against her.
Living in this third body, Sima attempts to reconnect with Bikas and prove her true identity. However, Bikas rejects her, believing her to be the very person responsible for destroying their relationship. The remainder of the story explores how Sima tries to convince him of the truth and reclaim her lost love.
