Movie Details

Ladhei (Odia: ଲଢ଼େଇ; English: Fight Till Death) is a 2025 Indian Odia-language action drama film directed by Ashok Pati and produced by Debasis Patnaik under the banner of DRS Enterprises and Dhonin Films & Creations. The film stars Lohitakshya Patnaik and Avilipsa Roul in the lead roles, with an ensemble supporting cast including Funny Pratik, Vivash, Krishna Kar, and Susant Das Mohapatra.

Released theatrically on 31 December 2025, Ladhei is a story of love, rebellion, and survival set against the backdrop of the restless sea. The film’s music is composed by Gaurav Anand and Somesh Satpathy, with lyrics by Dr. Nirmal Nayak, J.P. Wordsmith, and Bapu Goswami. The movie’s digital streaming rights are acquired by AAO NXT.

Plot

Ladhei follows the story of five fugitives escaping from a corrupt system who take refuge near the sea, only to find themselves at the center of a violent moral storm. As justice and vengeance collide, each character faces their inner demons — loyalty, betrayal, and survival.

Amid this turmoil, a tender and silent love story blooms between two fugitives, offering a glimpse of hope in an otherwise grim journey. The sea acts as both a metaphor and a witness — mirroring human turmoil and fate. Ladhei explores how rebellion becomes redemption, and how love endures even in the face of death.
