Overview:
I Am Kalia is a poignant emotional drama set in the sacred city of Puri, where age-old traditions clash with the power of unexpected love. The story follows Kalia, a deeply devoted man, who finds himself drawn to a foreign woman – sparking a profound inner struggle between his faith and his feelings.
The film poses powerful questions: Can love rise above centuries of tradition? And does true devotion require the ultimate sacrifice? Harihar Mahapatra delivers a compelling performance as a man caught between desire and duty, compassion and culture, heart and heritage. I Am Kalia brings a bold new voice to Odia cinema, where the fiercest battle is fought within.
