Plot:
The lives of two brothers and their beloved sister Mini take a tumultuous turn when Mini loses her eyesight in a fall. Problems escalate as the younger brother leaves with his wife and the elder brother loses his job. Eventually, they lose their ancestral home and Mini goes missing while searching for her brother. However, their story comes full circle and culminates in a joyous reunion. “Punarmilan” is a tale of love, trust, betrayal, greed, tolerance, and faith.
Note:
The film ‘Punarmilan’ is the remake of the Tamil film En Thangai (1952) which was also remade in Hindi as Chhoti Bahen (1959). Punarmilan marks the debut of actress Tandra Ray.
