As an actor and assistant/associate director, Bhim Singh had the privilege of working with Odisha’s renowned director Nitai Palit in many films. He is involved in many films in the field of screenplay and dialogue writing. Apart from this, he has written the manuscripts of many documentaries as well as written many high-profile articles on Odia plays, music, films and devotionals, as well as folklore.

He is personally involved since early stage of Odia cinema and thus aware of unknown chapters of Odia films. He is related and familiar with many film personalities of Odisha.
