Plot:

A dancing group was where Arundhati belonged. One day, while she was giving a performance in front of a riveted audience, someone ran across the platform and yelled, “Madhumati, my love.” This perplexed her, but Manoj, her lover, was startled by the invader named Biswajit’s excitement. Manoj turned his back on Arundhati and the dance group they were both a part of.

The group embarked on a cross-country trip at Biswajit’s recommendation. In the course of one of these tours, Biswajit separated from his friend to look for Manoj. At a tiny train station, they first met. Manoj is convinced to go back to Arundhati by Biswajit, who had long since learned that his girlfriend Madhumati is Arundhati’s twin sister.

Biswajit picks up his unfinished search for “Madhu” while Arundhati and Manoj are reconciled.
