Production & Release
Shot at Bhagyanagar Studios, Hyderabad, under the banner of Pratap Movie Enterprises, Paribar was a black-and-white film released in November 1978 at Prabhat Cinema, Cuttack. At a time when Odia cinema production was limited and many producers never ventured into a second film, projects like Paribar provided opportunities for Odia artists and contributed to the growth of Odia cinema.
Despite its noble intent and star-studded cast, the film was considered mediocre in overall quality – similar to other ventures directed by K.H.D. Rao.
