Sagar Das
Sagar Das, was a comic and character artist in Odia films. He entered in films through Abhinetri released in 1965. Later, he acted in films like Adina Megha, Bhai Bhauj, Kie Kahara. Panchu Pandav was the last film he acted in. He retired in 2000 after working as an actor in "Song and Dance" dept. under the central government.
Superhit Odia songs like 'Udi Udi Jaye Re Mo Gudi', 'Alapa Hasare Aneka Asha Ra', 'Paradesi Bandhu Tume', 'Sabi Sabi Tu Ta Mora Nali Pana Bibi' were picturised on Sagar Das. His comic performances were instrumental in pulling audience to cinema hall.
Family
Sagar Das was born in 1940. His father Purna Chandra Das worked as an artiste in the Music and Drama Department of the Government of India.
Acting Career
Sagar Das entered the world of acting through the Odia film Abhinetri released in 1965. Then in 1967, he acted in films like Bhai Bhauja, Kie Kahara in 1968, and Adina Megha in 1970. Panchu Pandav was his last Odia movie in 1989.
