Music for the movie was composed by singer Arjun Samal and violinist Sunakar Sahoo, who collaborated under the pseudonym ‘Arup – Swarup’. Suna Sansar also marks the debut of character actor Suresh Bala (Banku). The story was penned by renowned historian Dr. Manmathnath Das.
Indoor scenes were shot at the homes of Gagan Nanda and Dhira Biswal. Outdoor filming took place across Mahidhar Pada, Phulnakhara, Dr. Manmathnath Das’s residence in Bhubaneswar, Khandagiri, Balianta, and the region between the Daya and Bhargavi rivers. Song and dance portions were picturised at Bombay National Park, studios in Bombay, and Indrapuri Studio in Calcutta.
