‘Amari Gaan Jhua’ was produced by Naren Mitra, the owner of Capital Cinema, Cuttack, under the banner Utkal Chitra Pratisthan. Made with a budget of Rs. 64,000/-, the Odia version was a hit while Bengali version was unsuccessful.
